The Link tab allows you to set properties related to links.
Run external applications by clicking URLs. The external applications are set with Explorer, View - Option - File Type.
Send mail by clicking mail addresses (string including @).
Opens a File by clicking the file name in quotes.
Opens the File with the associated program instead of EmEditor.
Clicking a string enclosed with quotation marks defined on the Highlight (2) tab will select the whole string between the marks.
Open URLs and mail addresses only if double-clicked.
When this is checked, clicking a URL will select the whole string.
Recognize double-byte characters as URLs.
Recognize single-byte kana and kana marks as URLs.
Remembers the visited URLs, mail addresses and tags (after the Find in Files command) and highlight those links according to the specified colors specified in the Display tab of configuration properties.
Specify characters that are recognized as URLs. The characters consist of ASCII code value less than 128.
Among characters specified in the Recognize These Characters text box, specify characters not allowed at the end of URLs.
Resets to default settings. The Reset dialog box will be displayed and will allow you to copy from another configuration.
