A. Since EmEditor Professional has been optimized for speed, it finds or replaces much faster than EmEditor Free.

Q. Does it have the same Unicode support? A. EmEditor Free does not support CJK Extension B characters. Moreover, EmEditor Free occasionally causes issues with displaying characters, if those characters are not included in the specified font.

Q. If I purchase EmEditor Professional, will I receive many junk mails?

Since we offer EmEditor Free for free, you are not eligible for any support. Developing of EmEditor Free ended as version 6.00.4 on July, 22nd 2007. We do not plan to develop EmEditor Free further or to create EmEditor Free for other OS in the future.

Although you need to purchase EmEditor Professional, you will be eligible get support directly from the developer by e-mail and our forum. For EmEditor Professional, you can request additional features for the future version.
