Projects plug-in
This plug-in displays folder trees and allows you to open files from the folder trees. The Projects plug-in includes solution templates, a toolbar, and the parameter information tooltip, etc. It also allows you to open Visual Studio solution files as read-only. The Projects plug-in helps you organize files for your projects.
To use the Projects plug-in: click the Projects button on the Plug-ins toolbar. You can also select the Projects plug-in from the Plug-ins sub-folder on the Tools menu. The Projects Plug-in toolbar, symbol list, and custom bar appear. You can right-click the toolbar and select Projects Toolbar to hide or show this toolbar. On the right, you will see the Symbol List. Hide or show the Symbol List by clicking the Symbol List icon on the Projects toolbar. On the left, you will see the Projects custom bar. You can have multiple files in a project, and multiple projects in a solution.

To add files to a project, right-click Untitled Project, select Project, then click Add Existing Files. You can also add an entire folder to a project by dragging and dropping it from explorer. To open a file, click the file you wish to open. To open all the files in a folder from a solution in EmEditor, right-click the folder, and select Open All. You can also remove a file from the project by right-clicking the file, and selecting Remove. Save a project by right-clicking the project you wish to save, select Project and click Save Project As. Save a solution by right-clicking the solution you wish to save, select Solution and click Save Solution As.
In the solution name, the text in parenthesis indicates the template name. You can change the properties for the default template by clicking Properties for Current Solution Template on the Projects Plug-in toolbar. Right-click the Projects Plug-in button on the Plug-ins bar and select Properties, to adjust the properties of this plug-in.
