Possible to run EmEditor without Registry?
I'm back in school for a few courses and have been using Lab computers almost as much as my own.

I have Notepad2 installed on my USB stick along with Total Commander and AutoHotkey plus a few other apps -- but I'm starting to miss many EmEditor conveniences and features.

Is there a way to install onto a USB stick (i.e. a portable version) that will force EmEditor to use .ini or local SYNtax files instead of the registry?

Hello CrashNBurn,

Yes, it is a feature of EmEditor Professional. On the Tools menu, you can select "Import and Export" and select one of "Set up a removable drive such as a USB drive..." items. The portable version of EmEditor Professional is also available for download at Emurasoft Customer Center.
