Snippet: Snippet processes all backslashes? OK? All backslashes found in an snippet gets processed?
But for some snippets i didn't want/like that. Do i miss something in the configuration? What i mean is: Have an snippet: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore Insert this snippet to the document i get: C:WindowsSystem32DriverStore (Even worser snippet: X:\Test\backslashes\in\the\snippets because of \b and \t )Tested with 11.0.5 11.1.7 beta ---------- Of course i could use as snippet: C:\\Windows\\System32\\DriverStore to get the wanted: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore But that is not that nifty because i have to do that for every new snippet. How can that be improved? Maybe new snippet type: Plain Text ? (insert as is, no backslash translation at all) . |

Re: Snippet: Snippet processes all backslashes? OK? Yes, I agree. I think the escape option possibly confuses people anyway. The snippet should be stored and used as is.
Personally I use FlashPaste for my snippets: http://speedtyping.org/ Means I can recall snippets in any app. |
