Recently Changed Code Area Gutter Coloring I code in SQL a lot. I often edit files involving 100s of line of code, and I am missing this feature - the ability to visually see recently changed code (it is when a yellow color is set to gutter before the new code is saved, green after the changes are persisted)
I am not sure 100% if EMEditor does not have it, but I miss the aforesaid badly. |

Re: Recently Changed Code Area Gutter Coloring Hi,
The only way to find edited lines are that line numbers become highlighted (bold style) when the Line Number (on View menu) is checked. Other than that, there is no way to indicated edited lines or saved lines. I will consider this in future versions. Thank you!

Re: Recently Changed Code Area Gutter Coloring Hi Yutaka,
Aha, but I use the line numbering feature already, and in the theme "Blue" the aforementioned functionality does not work - turned out it does in "EMEditor Classic" scheme. It seems in "EMEditor Standard" it does not work either. But after you save the file the "boldified" line numbers are gone. I'd say it would be a super good addition to EMEditor. |
