Thanks for the response -- EmEditor is still my absolute favorite editor, I use it for everything and have a permanent link to it on the Help & Manual users' forum which I manage. ![]() |

Re: CDATA bug in Outline plugin EmEditor does not take into account special cases like this. However, I might consider improving this behavior in future versions. Thank you for your inputs!

CDATA bug in Outline plugin When using Outline on XML data containing CDATA blocks the outline gets truncated at the first CDATA block. It seems that the parser is not skipping the contents of the CDATA block and is getting tripped up by the code inside the CDATA block.
Similarly, the main editor also seems to get a little confused by XML containing CDATA because it is trying to parse the contents of the CDATA block as XML, which often fails. |
