Re: SpellCheck plugin caused EmEditor to freeze
I am sorry that EmEditor froze. I will try to reproduce this issue.

When you install Spelling (U.S. English) plug-in, instead of double-clicking the installer in Explorer, please make sure to click the right mouse button on the file, and select "Run as Administrator" in the context menu.

Thank you for using EmEditor!

SpellCheck plugin caused EmEditor to freeze
I'm using a paid edition of EmEditor Pro v9.11.

Today, I wrote a very quick essay, and before
saving the file, I ran "SpellCheck" from the plugins
menu, and it caused EmEditor to totally freeze up.

I now see that it seems to work if I select
something first. But still, I don't think it
should crash the whole program if nothing
is selected.

For me, though, I will just stick with the
"US Spelling" checker listed at the bottom of the
menu. (For some reason, I could not find it before.
After downloading and installing a US spellcheck
plugin, I found it again on the menu. Maybe it was
there all along though....)
