How about automatic workspace with undo information? That way you don't have to worry about saving untitled documents, and you can have one untitled document every time you launch EmEditor.

But, if that doesn't work, I might consider to create a Scratch pad plug-in in future versions.

Have you ever thought about creating a scratch pad area that can be used to manipulate text without having to create a new document. This could be a menu item under the edit menu, tool menu, or possibly a plug-in. I have a scratch document that I open all the time and make sure I save it when I'm done, but it'd be nice to have it as a separate item that automatically gets saved each time and not have to request a document be open when I want it.
