Re: Locate a keyboard shortcut in Properties dialog, when key pressed Not sure if it is bad form or not, just bumping a few of my old requests since v11 beta is now out.
The command help/keyboard map shows a list of EmEditor functions and assigned keyboard shortcuts. It would be helpful if we could sort that list by the non-modifier keys that make up that shortcut. E.G. instead of: [Category]___[Command]___[Current Keys]___[Description] The only change that would be required beyond the additional "Key" Tabstop, would be any commands that are assigned multiple shortcuts should likely appear multiple times in the list. E.G. Since from the Keyboard map we can double-click on an entry and go right to the change-shortcut option for that command. |

Re: Locate a keyboard shortcut in Properties dialog, when key pressed I found the command, Help -> Keyboard Map a while back.
If it had 1 additional TabStop beside the "[Current Keys]" Tabstop it would pretty much have this functionality. Additional TabStop: [Key] Which just shows the current assigned key, without any modifier keys, then the list could be sorted by keys... Currently, when you double-click on any item in the Keyboard Map list it opens that command focused in the Keyboard Properties (config). |

Locate a keyboard shortcut in Properties dialog, when key pressed Tools > Properties (for all | current)
[Keyboard] Find current Shortcut for Key: X Press New Shortcut Key: Y When shortcut "X" is pressed, it would be nice if the the dialogs above, would locate the current shortcut as to make it easier to assign "Y". Or a button, after you press the shortcut inside the "Press New Shortcut Key" to: [Find Command], which would populate the dialogs with that command, so a new shortcut can be assigned. |
