Snippet syntax
Hi! I really like the concept of snippets (or clip text in other places). The development of your own snippets can save a huge amount of time.

The normal "New snippet" dialogue within the Snippets side bar is fine but can be quite slow if you have a large number of snippets to create. For example I am developing a snippet for ISO 8859-1 Symbol and Character codes for HTML5.

I've done some R&D on the snippet file format. Its a standard XML text file with the following syntax:

<Item Name="I understand" Flags="" ConfigEdit="" ConfigMacro="" ConfigsAssociate="" Text="I understand" Trigger="" Tip="" ShortcutKey="0" ShortcutVirt="0"/>

The "Item Name" and "Text" tags are easy to understand. However, I would like to understand the other tags and what their default and allowable values might be.

I would be happy to write up a short tutorial on snippets once I have this information.

Regards,
Peter
