How to Close All Open Files but Not Exit EmEditor It is sort of a follow up on http://bit.ly/WtoGMd where I asked about the listing of all command IDs.
1 st I tried to use online Help cards. But it appeared to me that there is no such option to close all the open files (documents) and leave the editor running. But I need that for example when working with projects doing switching from a folder to folder. Also I noted that File -> Save And Close All command (Ctrl-Shift-E) also makes EmEditor quit. This was unexpected. In the help card it is called File > Close > Close All (not exactly) and the shortcut is ALT+SHIFT+X so we got two shortcuts doing the same (redundant IMO). |
