Some Typo in Menu Bar Hi,
Recently, I've tried to Export the registry from PC to another PC, and I got confusing about the selections. I mean, from Tools > Import and Export I believe you incorrectly typed between Export all settings into a registry file. Export all settings into INI files. should be using from not into Import all settings from a registry file. should be using into not from Thanks |

Re: Some Typo in Menu Bar I disagree and think that they are correctly worded.
"Export all settings into a registry file." means take the settings that are being used in the currently running EmEditor and save them in an external registry file (i.e. emeditor.reg). Same thing with the "...into INI files." where they are saved in an INI file (i.e. emeditor.ini). "Import all settings from a registry file." means read the settings from a registry file (i.e. emeditor.reg) and load the settings into the currently running EmEditor process. |

Re: Some Typo in Menu Bar Oh yeah, you're correct.
I misread it actually, ![]() "Export all settings into a registry file." BUT, I read as "Export all settings into a registry." Same for the "ini", I misread the word "file(s)" that's why it sounded strange to me, However, I suggest using the word "as" instead of the word "into". For the "Import all settings from a registry file.", yeah it's ok, but at that time, I might confused with the above 2 export sentences. |
