Margin guides? I generally use EmEditor to edit programs and shell scripts that are also used on old-fashioned Unix terminals, so I generally try to keep my programs and scripts within an 80-character line length.
Is there any way to get EmEditor to show a margin guide at a given column, such as column 80 or 132 (a vertical line and/or shaded area to the right of column 80)? This would be very handy, and is a feature many editors have. If it cannot currently do this, I'd like to request it as an enhancement.  Thanks! |

You might want to change the color of "Outside of regions" in the Display tab of configuration properties.
