When I'm performing a rectangular selection, it looks as a dotted rectangle (that's the style I set for it) with selected text inside it. However, as soon as I release the mouse button, it is transformed into set of lines each of which has its own bounding rectangle (drawn as a solid gray line). Is it intentional? If yes, how can I modify the style of this resultant selection? I failed to find the appropriate item in the list of color items.
