EmEditor Becomes Unresponsive When Opening 129MB Unix Type TXT File I have this text file that causes EmEditor 11.0.5 to become unresponsive when opening any way but binary hexadecimal. The lines are a maximum of 150 characters and they all end with a line feed character (x0A). This file contains one million lines. I have no way at all to open this file other than binary hex view. The editor totally locks up and I must force it closed.
I can open the file with no issues using Wordpad or Visual Studio. |
