Here at Emurasoft, we are pleased to announce the release of our new tutorials page for EmEditor.com!

We have uploaded 8 tutorial videos, available for your viewing pleasure. These are the first of many tutorial videos that will be released for EmEditor. Please give us your feedback on these videos as we strive to make them the most useful they can be for you!

CSE HTML Validator

CSE HTML Validator plug-in 7.01 released

The CSE HTML Validator plug-in (32-bit) has been updated. This plug-in validates HTML (or CSS) documents using CSE HTML Validator.

CSE HTML Validator Version 8.00 or later is required to use this plug-in, and can be found at http://www.htmlvalidator.com/. Any edition (Professional, Standard, or Lite (Free)) can be used, but only the Professional and Standard Editions can validate CSS documents, and also allow you to choose the Validation Mode.

The newest version (Version 7.01) allows you to check hyperlinks in HTML documents if the Professional or Standard Edition of CSE HTML Validator v8 or later is installed.

EmEditor Professional 7.00.6 has been released!

The updates include:

– The Project plug-in now works with Ctags to create symbol lists, and allows you to jump to the symbol definition with the F12 key, and go back with the Ctrl + * (shortcuts are customizable). See screenshot.

– RHTML configuration is added for Ruby on Rails support.

– Bug fixes.

Kown bug: This version cannot initiate box selection with ALT + mouse drag. You can still use CTRL + SHIFT + F8 to start keyboard box selection. The bug will be fixed by the next minor version.
