Having used Windows 8, I am now seriously considering moving over to a Linux platform, probably Ubuntu. EmEditor is the only application that is keeping me on Windows.

I can use vim, or gEdit, or any number of other editors, but EmEditor really is such a pleasure to use. To me it’s more than a pleasure – it’s essential to my work.

I totally understand why you concentrate on Windows – as a developer, I have to focus on Windows too, but it would be lovely not to have to work in a Windows environment.

Either way, I will keep using EmEditor!

    Hiya

Just wanted to say, I’ve monitored the program for a month now, although this is the first month I haven’t used the program very much – typical!

Anyway, ever since removing US english from the list of installed languages on the Windows PC, the program has worked perfectly. Thanks again for such a great program.

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply.

I did have US English in the list of available keyboard languages, although it wasn’t selected, or used by anything. I have now removed – I’ll monitor it for a month and let you know what happens.

    Thanks again

    Joe
