This is really not a bug. It is a specification. You must choose “FindBar Toolbar” on the context menu on the toolbars. That is because some people would like to customize a shortcut key to set focus to the Drop-down text box in the FindBar. This way, even when the FindBar is visible, a user can still press that shortcut key to set the focus to the text box.

Oh,I see.Your meaning is:Only one shortcut key to one plug-ins.
    1.When FindBar hide
You want the customized shortcut key make FindBar show.
    2.When FindBar show
You want the customized shortcut key make FindBar set the focus to the text box on FindBar,rather than make FindBar hide.
    Right? :)

    I have a suggestion:
1.If the customized shortcut key for FindBar is set (available),actions just like above.
2.If the customized shortcut key for FindBar is void(not available),actions just like beta5.

    It is a doable solution?
    Ths:)
