I added my OpenAI API key. Was accepted, Tried the chat feature and got the below message:
AI request error: openai: Failed after 3 attempts. Last error: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For more information on this error, read the docs: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/error-codes/api-errors.
I took the API to another program and was able to utilize to my advantage.
Since no file upload feature exists I am attaching the log file contents here (my other wish this forum site gets upgraded):

Please confirm your API usage with these steps:

1. Go to API keys and find the key you are using for Chat with AI inside “Secret key”.
2. Check that you are not exceeding your quota on this page

Thanks for the links.
I checked before posting and now again when no usage was recorded that I am within quota and have tokens left, also like I said, to validate, I used another app successfully.

I wonder if the right API key is being used. Please try this to confirm:
1. Check if you can get a simple response on OpenAI’s testing platform: https://platform.openai.com/playground/prompts
2. Create and copy a new API key.
3. In Customize AI Options, uncheck Use ‘OPENAI_API_KEY’ environment variable.
4. Copy the key to OpenAI API key.

Issue solved, need to enter the key a 2nd time after Use OPEN_AI_API_KEY variable was unchecked.
