Reply To: Re: A text with periods gets replaced with spaces when escape sequence option used

1) Copy-paste the text:
test.test.test.com
into a new text file.
2) Have the search-replace dialog set to use the option “Use Escape Sequence” on.
3) Attempt to replace the text with: testest1

Expected result: testest1

The actual result: testest1
