I am using emeditor 7.0 final.
yes, I did exactly as you suggested (creating new ‘437 OEM encoding with OEM font category, creating nfo configuration with this opening encoding and file association with nfo file).
But, the strange thing is:
when I reopen a nfo file,
‘FONT CATEGORY’ will always reverts to default.
FONT (OEM DOS in this case) remains however.
another question on configurations:
suppose I select lucida font for ‘all configurations’ and OEM font for nfo configuration, which font will emeditor select?
