Please give some consideration to adding to emeditor the functionality to assign an author’s name and perhaps copyright to the attributes of a file.

You mean besides, enabling the Explorer plugin, and right-clicking on the file, “Properties“, and clicking on the [Summary] tab?

Yes, because on my rig — Windows 7, 64 bit, the explorer plug-in was not working properly and on advice from Emura I disabled it.

@muskoka – May I ask what the problem is/was with the Explorer plugin, as I also run Win 7 64-bit ?
