    Hi All,

As for the AutoSave or BackUp features, does them support versions of the saved files? Is it possible to set a maximum number of the saved versions.

I mean some mechanism, which adds $<version_number> to the saved file:
    filename.$1.ext
    filename.$2.ext
    filename.$3.ext
    filename.$4.ext

This way keeps a history of the saved file.

    Thank you!

If this wish is going to be implemented in future version. I suggest add an option for it. As above mentioned, the option can be called “maximum number of the saved versions”, the number can be from 0 to any of number.
For me, I don’t wish Emeditor creates lots of backup file since the setting of time interval for autosave is only 1 min. Finally I have to delete backup file manually.

I need this feature ASAP! Could it be implemented or already exists? Why doesn’t a developer respond to this post?

You can set the “Rename if the Same File Name Exists” check box in the Auto Save or Backup page of configuration properties.

Great! Is it possible to change a syntax of the files? Let’s say instead of <FileName>_<VerNum>.<extension> set is as <FileName>$<VerNum>.<extension>?

Could this feature be added in the future?

Currently, it is not possible. I will look into this in the future.
    Thanks,
