    Say you have 2 lines, second line has a bookmark on it.
    Select 1st line by going to the beginning of the first line and pressing Shift-DownArrow. The whole first line is now selected. Press Delete. First line is now gone. Notice that the bookmark on the second line (which is now first) was removed. The line should remain bookmarked.
