Detect separator automatically not detecting

In Sort > Sort/Remove duplicate strings in selection
For example using the string

foods served|foods offered|foods served

if “Detect separator automatically” is checked, then “OK” is greyed.

Also, if one adds manually a separator, it would be a good idea to have it “remembered” by the system or have a checklist with common delimiters to check the one that applies (and have the selection remembered too).

This first issue has been fixed on v22.1.907. Thank you.

Thank you. Just tested with v22.1.907 and still the separator is not picked up automatically and the OK is greyed.

Are you using the same sample text? If not, please write a sample text.

Same when I try with spaces:

foods served | foods offered | foods served

Or

foods served, foods offered, foods served

I couldn’t reproduce the issue. Are you sure you selected only the sample text, and no other characters were selected? If any other symbols or control characters are selected, the auto detection will not occur.
