disable ALT

hello

clicking ALT enables/focuses the “File, Edit, Search, View, etc” bar

it seems its a global windowsxp shortcut, since it works in many applications

is it possible to disable this?

ofcourse other keyboard shortcuts that consist of ALT and some other key combination must work
