    I keep seeing this file on my desktop occasionally after opening a text file in emeditor. Is there any way to turn this off?

    Hi,

    Are you using the latest version of EmEditor — currently 10.0.4?

    Please select Customize Update Checker on the Help menu, and which folder is specified for the Downloads Folder?
    Does this folder exist?

    yeah I’m on 10.0.4
    the update options download folder is my desktop, I’ll just make this something else
