Explorer not updating when another program creates a file

To see the issue:
1. open a file such as x:foobar.txt
2. the Explorer plug in shows the contents of the directory where the file was opened from
3. with another application, create x:fooblah.txt
4. back in EmEdit notice that the Explorer view doesn’t update to show the correct files in the x:foo directory.

workaround: select the Explorer window and press F5.
desired behavior: have some other *automatic* update for the directory (maybe when EmEdit gets focus again?)
