    Default settings.
    New tab.
    Find Next. (Or after “Find in Files” is used.)
    Input a character (even a letter/number) with an IME.
    Undo. (Now Undo should be disabled.)
    Input a character (even a letter/number) with an IME again.
    Undo.
    ** Now both Undo and Redo are disabled.
    ** The character is still there.

    Tested with several IMEs.
