how to recognise a string with a dash in it as one word

there is a problem for me for a long time that emedtor recognise a word with a dash(-) in it as two words when double click or using the wordComplete plugin.
for example: “emp-code” should be one variable other than two.
or else what config should i follow to make it fit my requirement.

It’s not configurable at the moment, but hopefully it will be added soon.
