    So the installer will never support “/extract” option any more?

    The binary of the files are not identical now between the installer and the portable. Due to the difference in digital signatures? Why so?

    “/extract” is only for old installers with the “.exe” extension. Newer installers have “.msi” extension, so /extract is not needed anymore.

    I understand the binary of the files are not identical anymore between the installer and the portable due to different timestamp used in digital signature.
