Keep EmEditor open when closing all files

Is there anyway to keep the editor open after closing all files. Many times I want to close all files and start doing something else. I usually do this when doing searches.

Not being able to do this is very frustrating to me.

This is easy to do…..

From the Tools menu, select Customize….

Go to the Window tab and set the option called:

Do not close last document by selecting close command

See if that works for you.

That option is so oddly worded. I have seen that but had no idea it was what I wanted.
