    and you click on it then only this part is used as target:

    (the last parenthesis is missing)

    Hello Dino,

    You might want to remove ‘)’ from the Characters Not Allowed at End text box in the Link page of configuration properties.

    Ah, thanks!

    Now I also understand the problem: the ambiguity that arises when you have links enclosed in parentheses. A solution might be to check if there is an opening parenthesis within the link and treat the closing parenthesis accordingly. It would be smart, but maybe too smart, hard to say.

    (BTW, I’m using EmEditor for 9 years now, almost every day, the whole day. It’s worth every penny. Thanks for the tool!)
