Markers in EmEditor can be defined as either names or regular expressions. There seems to be a limit of approximately 256 characters for this marker “name” string though, which is of course more than enough for normal marker names, but absolutely NOT for regular expressions in all cases. I have bumped into this frustrating limit several times now while creating clever regular expression markers, so could you PLEASE consider increasing this limit considerably (or by all means, remove the limit completely and let the user decide this for himself)? It feels like a very unfortunate limit for an otherwise extremely useful feature!

The marker was supposed to work up to 10,000 character long but there was a bug. I will fix this on the next version.
