To reproduce:

1) Open several documents
2) Do two Find In Files (make sure Use Output Bar option disabled)
3) Click on different documents (including the search results doc) in Open Documents plugin area on left

– The list gets re-ordered sometimes
– The list items change from showing just filename to full path
