With reference to my two emails dated May 15, 2025 (one with an image attachment), I am providing you with further details
in the hope that you will be able to resolve the issue described below.

Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right
… is NOT always retained and is partially changed to “Left” …
    ——————————————————————————————————-
    My Settings
EmEditor Professional (64-bit) Version 25.0.912 (installed)
View Outline Bar Alt+O Shows or hides the outline bar.
✅ Toggle Outline Bar per configuration
✅ Toggle Outline Guide per configuration
    ——————————————————————————————————-
    Test case 1: OK
    1. Start EmEditor, Outline Bar is NOT available
    2. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Left
    3. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right > OK –> Setting changed to “Right”
    4. Press the ESC key (Menu “File” > Exit All)
    5. Double-click the EmEditor icon in the system tray: > Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right > OK
    ——————————————————————————————————-
    Test case 2: Not OK
    1. Start EmEditor, Outline Bar is NOT available
    2. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right
    3. Restart EmEditor
    3. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right > OK –> Setting is present!
    4. View Outline Bar Alt+O Shows or hides the outline bar. –> Outline Bar is displayed
    5. Press the ESC key (Menu “File” > Exit All)
    6. Double-click the EmEditor icon in the system tray: > Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Left > Not OK!
    ——————————————————————————————————-
    Test case 3: Not OK
    1. Start EmEditor, Outline Bar is available
Before restarting EmEditor in this case, the following settings were used:
Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right and the outline bar was DISPLAYED!
✅ Toggle Outline Bar per configuration
✅ Toggle Outline Guide per configuration
    2. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Right –> This is the correct setting!
    4. View Outline Bar Alt+O Shows or hides the outline bar > The outline bar is displayed on the LEFT > Not OK!

    Test case 4: Not OK(?))
    Continuation of test case 3!
    1. The outline bar is displayed on the LEFT – Outline bar position: Right
    2. The outline bar window is dragged from the LEFT to the RIGHT
    3. The outline bar is displayed on the RIGHT – Outline bar position: Right > OK
    4. The outline bar window is dragged from the RIGHT to the TOP
    5. The outline bar is displayed at the TOP – Outline bar position: Right > Not OK?
    6. The Outline Bar window is moved from the TOP to the BOTTOM
    7. The Outline Bar is displayed at the BOTTOM – Outline Bar position: Right > Not OK?
    8. The Outline Bar window is moved from the BOTTOM to the LEFT
    9. The Outline Bar is displayed on the LEFT – Outline Bar position: Right > Not OK?
    10. View Outline Bar Alt+O Shows or hides the outline bar. –> Outline Bar is HIDDEN
    11. Menu “Tools” > Customize… > Outline Bar position: Left > Not OK?
The setting was changed just by hiding the outline bar!

I had previously positioned the outline bar on the right side and would like
to be able to fix it there again in the future.

    Please check.
    Thank you!
