    Hello,
    I would like support or information on Outlining.

    Tools > Properties for All Configurations > Outline

    – ☑ Display outline as guide
    Max level: 32
    Initially: Expand All

    – ☑ Display outline as custom bar
    Max level: 10
    Initially: Collapse All

    – Type: Custom
    – ☑ Make comments collapsible
    – Find: <

    Tools > Properties for All Configurations > Highlight (2)
    – Bracket Pairs: ☐ <>

    Currently I can display 1 outline level without any problems, e.g. as follows:
    – < Outline
    | Text
    – < Outline1
    | Text
    – < Outline2
    | Text

    Context menu > Outlining:
    For me all menu items work except Level 2 – Level 5.

    I don’t know what these points are for or what the text file should look like,
    so I can apply these points.

    Hence my questions:
    1. Does Level 2 to Level 5 roughly correspond to a Winword outline?
    1
    1.1
    1.1.1
    1.1.1.1
    1.1.1.1.1
    2. Is it possible to set an end point for an outline level (e.g. <beginning … end>)?

    By chance I found the answer to point 1. myself:
    Menu “Tools” > “Properties for All Configurations” – “Outline”…
    Here you have to create the entries for the outline points under “Find”, e.g.
    < = Level 1
    [ = Level 2
    { = Level 3
    & = Level 4
    * = Level 5

    If necessary, in the menu “Tools” > “Properties for Current Configuration Alt+ENTER” in the relevant document
    still require an adjustment.

    For point 2. I tried Google with the following query: Outline site:https://www.emeditor.com
    and found a suitable answer for me under point 1.:

    Each level ends when it find the same level begin.

    Please consider my request as closed.
