Projects Plugin: Adding an existing file using INSERT button to a subtree adds to the parent tree

I noticed that when I use the Projects add-in where I have a parent and child folders structure (more than one level) adding an existing file using the INSERT button while having the needed child folder highlighted actually adds this file to the parent (topmost) folder instead. This is a bug.

On the contrary, having the same performed using the right-click -> project menu on the child folder and choosing add existing files… menu works.
