    Currently, there are already too many tabs in both Customize and Configuration Properties dialogs, so they do not look nice. There was a similar problem in Total Commander file manager, so its author switched from tab-style organization to page-style. I think, it’s worth that EE implemented the same.

    Here are two screenshots of the Configuration dialog in TC versions 5.51 and 6.0:
