The website to purchase EmEditor seems to insist on gathering name and address even when paying with paypal. I’d like to be able to purchase EmEditor without giving away my personal information.

Would you consider making a PayPal purchase option directly from your site*? (maybe skip DigitalRiver completely).

*without requiring a physical mailing address.
