1.) I would like to have context menu entries
    * COPY to copy an item
    and
    * PASTE to paste an item.

1b.) Also i want to copy an item
by pressing an accelerator key (like Strg)
    while drag&dropping it.

That way i can copy an nifty item to an other folder
and/or use an copy of an existing item as base for an new one.

“Name”, “Tip”, “Type” and “Text” can be stay.
“Trigger” and “Shortcut” should be removed on the copy.

1a. is done for single selected item or folder.
Selecting more then one item/folder is not possible.

    1b. is not implemented

    Thank you Yutaka.

Today, (2/28/2012) we are releasing EmEditor Professional v11.1.0 beta.
    Updates from v11.0.5 include:
    NEW FEATURES
    – (Snippets plug-in) The Cut (Ctrl+X), Copy (Ctrl+C), and Paste (Ctrl+V) commands were added to the Snippets plug-in.
These commands can be used to copy or move snippets items easily around the snippet tree.
The Paste command can be also used to insert a simple text snippet to the snippet tree.

    EDIT:
Be aware: the snippet copy is an exactly 1:1 copy
including all parameters as f.ex. trigger and shortcut.

I had forgotten that this is a new feature
and so i used it very self-evident in the 11.1.x betas
to double existing items for an start for an new macro.

    And it works very well.
    Not only to copy&paste items.
I even can paste plain text and get an new snippet item.

Back in 11.0.5 i quickly miss this feature badly :-D

SO thanks again Yutaka, well done!
