Snippet Plugin drag&drop several lines to new item each

Is there an way, or could that be an feature request,

to select several lines in the document
and while drag & dropping this to the snipped window
getting an new snippet for each line separate?

Maybe by pressing an accelerator key like CTRL or Shift while d&d’ing
or by having an option to enable such an feature from time to time.
