Solutions, Projects and Symbols

Where do I find the help for the Projects plugin?

I don’t understand the relationship between solutions, projects and symbols. :-?
Are the symbols somehow tied to a Solution?

There seems to be a separate list of symbols for each project.
I think I had to open the Symbol List window to get symbols generated.

I can’t seem to get symbols working when I open a file in a “secondary” emeditor window. Am I missing something here?

Another goal is to be able to have multiple editor windows open each with a different project.
When I close the project, it remembers the files that are open for the next time I open the project.

Is this possible?
