Issue 1:
When there’s any unsaved tab,
Open Start Window and select a workspace.
It prompts to save the file.
Cancel.
Open Start Window and select a workspace again.
** No prompt. No open.
Save or close all the unsaved files.
Open Start Window and select a workspace again.
** Still no open.

Issue 2:
Use “Start Window” command in an unsaved tab.
Press Down key.
Now the focus frame is in the Start Window.
** But the text cursor also goes down a line.

Suggestion 1:
Hope the pinned items can be distinguished by color.
Or at least a separator is needed.

v18.1.0 fixes issues 1 and 2. I will think about Suggestion 1 in the future.

Open Start Window (via shortcut key).
Press Esc key.
** It should close Start Window only, without affecting the selection.

Open a new window (with Start Window automatically opened).
Drag and drop text into the window.
** I think the Start Window should close automatically.

v18.6.0 beta 1 (18.5.91) fixes the first issue regarding ESC key.
I couldn’t reproduce the issue with drag and drop.

Suggestion 2:
Hope one can open workspace(s) without closing the current windows:
Add such a checkbox option in Start window, and in Customize:Workspace.

Hope one can open multiple files/workspaces at a time:
Double-click to open an item.
Single-click to select an item. (Select more with Ctrl and/or Shift.)
Enter (or a button) to open the selected one(s).

Or by using checkboxes:
Click the link to open the item.
Click the checkbox to select.

It occurs to me that a Pin button for the Start window would be enough for this case.

New issue:
When Start window is opened (automatically or manually) in an empty tab, the text cursor will disappear, even when Start window is closed.

Suggestion 2:

Actually, you can select a workspace while pressing CTRL key, and the current windows will not close.

Suggestion 3:
Hope one can open multiple files/workspaces at a time:

You can use keyboard (SHIFT + DOWN/UP), or CTRL + click to select multiple items.

New issue:
When Start window is opened (automatically or manually) in an empty tab, the text cursor will disappear, even when Start window is closed.

If you press the DOWN key to open the Start Window, the Restore Previous Workspace button will have the focus initially (no text cursor appears), but pressing the UP key will bring the focus back to the editor (the text cursor will appear). Otherwise, the text cursor should appear initially. If you believe there is a bug, please let me know how to reproduce the issue.

v19.3 beta 3 (19.2.93) includes a separator between pinned items and non-pinned items in the Start window.
