I’ve just upgraded to EmEditor 9 from EmEditor 8, and one thing I’m noticing that’s different is that if my cursor is on a blank line, and I press Enter, then the next line is automatically indented.

I really don’t want that to happen. I do want EmEditor to automatically indent the next line if the previous line was indented, but not after a blank line.

I’ve searched through the settings, and can’t find anything that looks even remotely related to this.

Is there anything I can do to change this?

Which configuration do you use, and how did you set up your tab/indent settings? (configuration properties > Tab/Indent button). Did you try resetting all configurations?
