Hi,

I was testing the CSV mode in the new EmEditor 9 Beta 33. It would be very interessting if it would be possible to configure the string that is used to separate the columns in a CSV file.

Although the definition says, that columns in a CSV file a separated by “,” I see often files where a “;” oder “|” oder “t” ist used for separation. To ensure compatibility we use “||” (two pipes) as column separation.

I would like to suggest a configuration option, where the the separation string can be configured. Would be great.
