    Which version of EmEditor are you using? If not the latest, please update to the latest version.
    Which command is the TAB key assigned to? Please see the Keyboard Map on the Help menu.

    18.9.8 Tab is not assigned to anything. Its behaviour only changes when one first selects something and presses tab, as one can see from video.
