Upgrading resets "Customize" settings.

Hi,

Every time I upgrade EE, the “Customize/Shortcut” settings get re-checked. Is that some kind of a bug or is this on-purpose for some reason ?

I really like to have “Display a tray icon each time Windows start” & “Display a tray icon to the Taskbar” unchecked, but it always get rechecked after an upgrade.

Hi,

When you install EmEditor, please select “Custom” Install (instead of “Typical” or “Complete”), and clear related check boxes. You should not see these options checked next time.

Sorry, but i updated only right now,
and there is no option to skip changing these settings in the Custom install page….

Hi,

You should click the “Tray Icon” under the “Program Shortcuts and Association” when you select “Custom” during the Setup.
