Windows 10 Explorer Right Click Open WIth Shows Two EmEditor Items

Within Windows Explorer, if I right click a .txt file then mouse over Open With, I see the following two items in the list:

EmEditor Tray Icon program
EmEditor Tray Icon program

If I uninstall EmEditor, both of these items go away. However, after I reinstall EmEditor they return. I have been searching for these in the registry to remove them, but I have not been able to find them. Clicking either of these items opens the .txt file in EmEditor. I am not sure why they are appearing as “EmEditor Tray Icon program”, or why they appear two times.

Is there a way to remove and/or rename these?

I removed one of the duplicated Open With items by performing a full uninstall removing all settings then using Ashampoo Uninstaller version 8 to remove all traces of EmEditor. I rebooted my computer using Ashampoo Uninstaller to log a new install of the latest EmEditor version 19.7.0. Now open with shows a single entry for “EmEditor Try Icon program”.

Too bad I had to lose all settings, but this worked.
